The Gospels Masterfully Interwoven
This book is like a work of art, a tapestry skillfully and loving created with keen scholarly insight!
I have read through the gospel accounts numerous times over the years and have been surprised and delighted by this project. It felt like reading the Jesus story for the first time.
The author's choice of verbiage and placement add a wonderful depth of understanding, capturing the essence of the message in a profound way. This coupled with his wife's wisdom and Jewish background truly do make this devotional an adventure.
I recommend this book for the novice as well as the veteran Bible reader and feel it would be a great gift for anyone. - TA

Everyday for the last 150 days, I have looked forward to my morning time with Jesus InSync. This morning, day 150, I finished this wonderful journey of a Jesus focus! Thank you for presenting the story of our Savior in a fresh way that remains faithful to the Scripture. Through the text of God's Word and your insightful devotions, I have been blessed and daily fed. I now pass it on to my wife who will begin her 150 day journey. I have really enjoyed reading your book. I cannot read it day by day...I have almost read it completely. But...will enjoy re-reading it over and over. It is easy to follow and learn by. - JB
First of all, I know that giving you my opinion is, somewhat, limited because I am not a biblical scholar. However, I will give you my honest opinion. My reading of the New Testament always begins with Matthew, and of course, most people think this is the most important book of the study of Jesus, because it is the beginning of the New Testament. When I first started reading your book, I thought this is
going to be a repeat of what I have already read before. But, after reading the 10th day of the book I had to step back and say to myself, that I feel like I am walking along side of Jesus. It gave me great insight as to what Jesus felt and accomplished in his short time here on earth. It is obvious that you took nothing for granted, and you obtained great knowledge in your research. The characters in your book are well known, and life in that world became much clearer by the way you kept Jesus in the forefront. The message of salvation
is always first and foremost in your daily walk. The strongest point in your book, to me, was Jesus coming back to his disciples and showing them the power to overcome death. I hope that I made myself somewhat clear, but I truly enjoyed the book and the way it took me on a daily walk with Jesus. - JB

This book was opened just a few days before Christmas & it has been such a beautiful reminder of the first earthly days of the life of Christ and his significance here on earth. I can’t wait to read the rest & so thankful for the truth, encouragement, and inspiration these daily devotionals bring. If we want to truly be imitators of Christ, it is essential that we seek to learn from Him through Biblical scriptures & this book helps us as believers to do just that.

What a work of the Holy Spirit! After I read the intent behind this book and how it was orchestrated, I can see why it took 8 years. Just wow! I don't know that I have ever seen this woven together in such a way. It's like you've taken individual tapestries, unraveled the accounts, and then woven together a comprehensive single tapestry. The stories haven't changed but the way God moved in you both to weave this brings such a life and depth to our understanding of the individual accounts The amount of work that it took, though...shew! - JO

What an amazing work you have accomplished! To be able to study the gospels in chronological order with the dates and locations of each section is an incredible blessing. The translation is beautiful and easy to read and the devotionals take you to a more personal, deeper place with our LORD. Thanks also for including the meaning of many original Greek (and Hebrew?) words and for including the cultural context to help us gain a better understanding of the times that Jesus lived. At the end of the of Narnian stories by CS Lewis the reader is urged to come further up and further in. This book in your hands is a call to that too. Most of us have read the story of Christ in the four Gospels countless times, but this book allows us to see it from a fresh perspective.
